Driversnote get my approval This app worked great while I used it. Customer service is top notch. They worked with me even when my issue was no fault of theirs.
Driversnote very useful As a contract employee your app was simple to use, accurate and I didn’t have to worry about where my travel records were come Tax Time. At EOY I just downloaded the data, saved the file in the right folder and entered the information in my tax program. Highly recommend, Chris

Frequently Asked Questions
Your mileage log needs to contain specific information for each business trip. Record the mileage driven, time, destination and purpose for each. Finally, don’t forget to also log your vehicle’s odometer at the start and end of the year. While you can keep a paper mileage log, you can save a lot of time by using a mileage log app that will automate this process for you.
Calculate your mileage reimbursement simply by multiplying the miles driven by the current year’s standard mileage rate, or the rate you are reimbursed at. For example, if you’ve driven 4000 business miles this year, and use the IRS mileage rate (58.5 cents for 2022) the calculation will be the following:
4000 miles x 58.5 cents = $2340 in mileage reimbursement.
If you drive for business purposes, we strongly encourage you to track your mileage! You’ll be able to claim mileage deduction on your annual tax return which is designed to help you with the expenses of owning and operating your vehicle for business purposes. If you drive a lot for work, you’ll end up saving a solid monetary amount for the year. Make sure to have an IRS-compliant mileage log that contains all the needed information, in order to claim mileage.
